Started as a hackathon project, our proprietary AI sales agent was built under 3 weeks, delivering a conversion rate 70% higher than humans under the same conditions, representing a massive efficiency gain for our company, mostly due to the reduced CAC and faster sales cycle.

The full sales agent workflow

Building on the back of a Hackathon project, we build a low-code sales agent that's able to handle the entire sales cycle, from lead qualification to closing. The results over the course of 2 months since the project has been launched have been impressive, with a 70% higher conversion rate than humans under the same conditions, and a 100% decrease in CAC on sales, our agent was able to beat the top-performers of our company on sales done on the same day the lead was generated.

Since our sales team represent over 50% of our company, this is a huge win for us, and a testament to the power of AI in sales. The major win was only possible due to the unique team composition, which included a staff engineer, two seasoned sales managers and an AI product manager (a new role at our company). This team was able to prototype, test and launch the AI sales agent in less than 3 weeks, having the first sale at the end of week 2.

Now with the project under Sales, the team is working to scale the agent to handle more leads and sales, and to improve the agent's ability to handle complex sales scenarios. Since the launch we already built custom tools such as automated follow-ups, audio generation for long answers, audio summarization and more.

Our goal is to have over 80% of our sales automated by AI at the end of Q2 2025, positioning Fluency as one of the first companies to have a fully automated sales team.
